About Sarah
Sarah Milgrim z”l was a bright unwavering light in this world, passionate about sustainability, social justice, and community. She was a a dreamer, and a doer who believed in showing up for others and building a more compassionate world. She had a quick wit, a generous heart, and an unshakable belief that light and love can grow even in the darkest times. She lived by the concept tikkum olam, Hebrew for "Repair the World".
At just 26, Sarah and her partner, Yaron Lischinsky were murdered outside of the Capital Jewish Museum in Washington, D.C. This week of service is our way of continuing her work, through action, kindness, and connection.
